In the Vatican the Pope celebrates the beatification of Ceferino Giménez Malla, the first gypsy saint among the blessed of the Catholic Church. We travelled from the big crowds of this public event to the intimacy and daily life of a gypsy family within its community in Portugal. We let all the moments in the present and in the people’s memory become special ground for reflection on themes which are the basis of our desire to film: nomadism and sedentarization, identity, spirituality, tradition and social rules.
